Razer Blackwidow Chroma V2

Recommended Posts

Hey, folks!

I just bought a brand new keyboard for $160.83 (w/ tax), and I know that sounds a little expensive but bare with me...

The Razer Blackwidow Chroma is a mechanical gaming keyboard that offers a customizable back-lighting display. There are a multitude of settings that allow you to modify your color combinations to fit your needs.

This includes:

  • Breathing - a breathing simulation that changes from on/off
  • Fire - a smoldering simulation that gives a fire-like effect
  • Reactive - turns on based on what key you press
  • Spectrum Cycling - Cycles through the RBY spectrum
  • Starlight - twinkles random spots on the keyboard to simulate stars
  • Static - a static color
  • Wave - A wave of colors that seems to splash from one end to the other
  • Ripple - as a key is pressed, a rippling effect takes place on the keyboard

If that isn't enough to sell this keyboard, 5 additional keys are added and are completely customizable. This means you can have 5 extra gaming keys or macroed keys for your use!

If you guys have any questions, feel free to let me know, or you can hop over to Razer's website!

Sounds like a nice keyboard @Valtorei, but why does a keyboard need so many colors and color options? Isn't it all about how it is working?.
For example: I like pressing the buttons on a Apple keyboard and my cheap computer Speedlink keyboard. A friend of mine has a 200+ Euro keyboard with also loads of colors and color options, but when you press a button it feels like you are going back in time. Back to the typewriter times..

Anyway, I hope you like your new keyboard :)
